There are spectacular highs and crummy lows, but Bond’s the man women want and men want to be. Watching all the Bond movies in a row can be maddening at times – there’s often tonal whiplash from one to the next, as the movies tend to oscillate between campy and serious entries. The remarkably durable James Bond has been on screen for 50 years and thanks in part to the series’ gift for endless re-invention, Bond’s cinematic adventures will likely outlive us all.
